Anita Hornai is a Sound Designer and Composer working across film, theatre, and audio-based projects, creating immersive and emotionally driven soundscapes that support storytelling and bring creative worlds to life.

Her work spans sound design, composition, music production and post-production, with a particular interest in Foley, narrative sound and the relationship between sound, space and emotion. Alongside her work in sound, Anita is an active musician, producer and composer, bringing a strong musical sensibility to her approach to sound design.

Her recent credits include sound design and composition for the documentary *Easy Digger*, directed by Richard Hajdu, and sound design for *Pankaland*, an audio blog by Anna Torner. Her theatre work includes *EMMA in Serbia*, directed by Peter Fekete, and *Magic Cube* with HubArt Theatre Company, where she created original soundscapes closely integrated with performance and space.

Anita’s creative background began with jazz studies at the Budapest Music Academy, where she developed her foundation as a vocalist and musician. She is currently completing a DipHE in Music Technology and Production at the University of East London and IMW, developing her practice across sound design, recording, mixing and post-production. Her studies and professional collaborations have also given her experience working alongside sound designers and Foley artists, as well as exploring spatial audio and Dolby Atmos.

With a multidisciplinary background in music and sound, Anita approaches each project with both technical precision and a strong creative instinct. She is particularly drawn to collaborative projects where sound is an integral part of the storytelling, whether through detailed Foley, post-production sound for film and television, atmospheric sound design, original composition or music production.
